CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. - Investigators said two people are in custody after a deputy chase in Carroll County.
Channel 2's Carol Sbarge obtained video from a neighborhood driver who witnessed the violent pursuit.
The passenger inside the SUV started shooting at the deputy in pursuit. Deputies fired back twice.
Sbarge talked to investigators about the
"Right now the investigation is ongoing, but it was probably between 16 and 20 (shots fired)," said Carroll County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Brad Robinson.
The chase ended near a dead end on Woodland Court. The two suspects taken into custody are linked to other burglaries, authorities said. Both suspects are from Paulding County.
