10-year-old describes Roswell apartment shooting

ROSWELL, Ga. — A 10-year-old boy says his family's safety was his primary concern when gunshots riddled his Roswell apartment.

Andy Sanchez said he and his mom were relaxing at home on Sunday after a long holiday weekend when they heard gunfire.

"Two guys just started randomly shooting," Andy said.

Andy showed Channel 2 Action News the bullet holes in his windows, blinds and stereo speakers at his family's apartment on Old Holcomb Bridge Road.

Police said they collected bullets and casings from Andy's family's apartment, as well as the one next door. They said it's possible the incident is connected to another shooting earlier the same day.
