BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — Emergency officials have reopened Interstate 75 after a 16-car pileup Sunday afternoon.
The crash hurt at least 10 people and closed the southbound lanes in Bartow County for nearly four hours.
Emergency crews told Channel 2's Chris Jose they had trouble getting to the wreck because several vehicles, including onlookers, blocked off emergency lanes.
The wreck happened shortly before 2 p.m. along I-75 southbound at Allatoona Lake Bridge.

Jose saw cars, vans, SUVs and semitrucks involved in the pileup. He said about half of the vehicles had out-of-state license plates.
The Georgia State Patrol said 10 people were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The pileup shut down southbound I-75 for nearly four hours.
How the chain-reaction crash happened is under investigation. Officials told Jose that weather likely played a role.
