DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. —

DeKalb County police are searching for suspects in a deadly shooting Saturday night.

One person was killed and three others were injured in the drive-by shooting that happened on Shamrock Drive.

“I just heard about five shots,” said Ayana Sears, who lives next door.

According to police, the victims knew the shooters and that the incident may have stemmed from some type of dispute earlier.

Dekalb County police say the altercation began at another location. When one of the vehicles, was traveling down Shamrock Drive, at least two suspects in the other vehicle, began shooting at the first vehicle.

“The driver of the first vehicle lost control and ran up into yard and second vehicle fled,” said Lt. A.W. Ford, with the Dekalb County Police Department.

Neighbors who live near the shooting are shaken up.

“I woke my mom up. I saw guy coming down the street with blood in his shirt,” Sears told Channel 2’s Rachel Stockman.

“As far as it being gang related activity, it is possibility but we are not prepared to say at this time,” said Lt. Ford.

Police are actively searching for the suspects. They have not released the name of any of the victims. Two people are in critical condition, and one is in stable condition in area hospitals, according police.
