ATLANTA - Severe Weather Team 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz expects off-and-on showers and storms in metro Atlanta this weekend.
Scattered showers and storms will continue Sunday, but Nitz expects things to dry up Monday and Tuesday, as temperatures climb into the upper 80s.
Areas south and west of Atlanta got the bulk of Saturday morning's showers.
Troup County officials reported widespread street flooding from overnight and morning downpours.
Like Saturday, Nitz said there will be some dry periods in the metro area Sunday.
