ATLANTA, Ga. - A motorcycle driver who evaded police ended up crashing on I-285 northbound around 10 a.m.
According to Georgia State Patrol, a trooper attempted a traffic stop on a motorcycle on Interstate 285 northbound at Lavista Road for improper lane change and improper tag display. In an attempt to flee, the motorcycle was traveling in the right lane when the motorcycle driver clipped the back of a pickup truck, struck the median wall, and was ejected from the motorcycle.
She was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center in serious condition. Charges are pending against her, troopers said.
