FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — New crime data published by the Federal Bureau of Investigations shows Forsyth County has the lowest per capita crime rate in metro Atlanta.
Experts are surprised by the low figures from Forsyth County, because the area has had a significant population growth over the last few years.
The Forsyth County sheriff credits new crime initiatives for his department's containment on overal crime.
