Report: ‘Atlanta Housewives’ Shake Up Could Be Coming

ATLANTA —

Changes could be coming to the cast of Bravo’s hit reality series “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” according to celebrity gossip Web site MediaTakeOut.com.

The Web site featured a short story Wednesday indicating that original cast member Sheree’ Whitfield could be heading for the door.

But when contacted by wsbtv.com reporter Brian Johnson, Whitfield’s publicist e-mailed a short statement, which read in part, “Your best bet is to contact Bravo.”

Johnson then contacted a member of the "Housewives" production team, who forwarded his request for details onto Bravo.

A spokeswoman for NBC Universal, which owns Bravo, later sent Johnson an e-mail stating, “No decisions for a season three have been made yet.”

When asked whether she was referring to the cast or the show itself, the spokeswoman replied, “Both.”

Cast member Deshawn Snow was cut from the show after season one. Snow was replaced by Kandi Burruss, an award-winning singer-songwriter and former member of the ’90s R&B group Xscape.
