DECATUR Celebrate July 4th with Parade, Concert and Fireworks The parade line-up at Decatur First Baptist Church. Parade beginning at 6 p.m. The Boy Scouts mark the beginning of the concert Join Decatur's July 4th Pied Piper Parade as it winds through downtown Decatur. Decorate your wagon, ride your bike, skate, or walk in this event. The City Commissioners will lead the parade in the mini-firetruck. Neighborhoods and organizations are encouraged to make floats and join the fun. Parade line-up is at the First Baptist Church of Decatur at 5:30 p.m. The parade begins at 6 p.m. It ends at the Community Bandstand on the square with a presentation of colors and the Star Spangled Banner. Anyone may participate in the parade but those with vehicles must register by completing the July 4th Pied Piper Parade Guidelines form. The concert, featuring the Callanwolde Concert Band, begins at 7 p.m. in the Community Bandstand. Fireworks begin at dark (approximately 9 p.m.) and are shot from the top of the DeKalb County parking deck.

GWINNETT COUNTY (MALL OF GEORGIA) Ninth Annual Fabulous Fourth at Mall of Georgia Mall of Georgia invites local families and friends to add a few sparks to this years Independence Day bash! KENNESAW

Celebrate Independence Day on Sunday, July 3 with a free outdoor concert at the Depot in downtown Kennesaw. The Tribute to Legends series continues at 8 pm when Eagles tribute band Hotel California takes the stage. The band Destination will perform at 6 pm. A spectacular fireworks display is planned during the show at 9:30 pm.

A six-foot rectangular table located in front of the performance area can be reserved for $50 (or $75 for the July 3 concert). Each table seats six persons. Chairs are included. The number of tables is limited; tables are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. With the exception of reserved tables, all seating is general admission lawn seating, so bring a blanket or comfortable low-back chair. Food and beverage vendors will be on site; however concertgoers are welcome to bring a cooler and pack a picnic basket. No barbecue grills are allowed.

The Depot is located at 2828 Cherokee Street, across the street from the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History. Parking is limited. Concertgoers are encouraged to carpool.
