1st Annual Season of Magic-Piedmont Park

Gift of Lights-Atlanta Motor Speedway

A drive-through display of more than 1 million Christmas lights and hundreds of light displays. $15 per vehicle

Garden Lights Holiday Nights-Atlanta Botanical Garden

Experience a dazzling extravaganza featuring nearly 1 million lights crafted into displays inspired by nature. Highlights include a galaxy of stars in the woodlands; whimsical bees, butterflies, and other lighted pollinators in the Edible Garden; and 200 show-stopping, color-changing topiary forms choreographed to holiday music on the Great Lawn. $18.95 Adult, $12.95 Child age 3 – 12.

19th Annual Magical Nights of Lights-Lake Lanier Islands

Seven-mile drive-through tour of animated holiday light displays. Other attractions include a big screen nativity show, carnival rides and games, pony rides, petting zoo and the Holiday Village where visitors can roast marshmallows, sip hot chocolate, visit with Santa and pick out a 2011 holiday ornament. Cars are $40.00 Monday – Thursday (excludes Dec. 19 – 22) $60.00 Friday – Sunday (includes Dec. 19 – 22)

Lights of Life 2011-Life University

Thousands of lights across the school's campus. Attraction includes a petting zoo on Saturdays and Sundays, train rides ($3), pony rides ($5) and photos with Santa ($12) on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Holiday in Lights-Centennial Olympic Park

The Park transforms into a winter wonderland with thousands of lights and includes an outdoor skating rink. Viewing the lights is free. Skating costs $9 which includes skate rental.

Stone Mountain Christmas

See more than two million lights and more than a dozen performances and activities including Wonderland Walkway, The Polar Express 4-D Experience, Christmas parade and visit with Santa Claus. Prices vary.

A Country Christmas in Lights-The Rock Ranch

Drive-through over a mile of Christmas lights. Closed on Mondays. Donations accepted.

Christmas in Cumming

A celebration of Christmas through music and lights. Six private homes decorated with nearly a quarter million lights, choreographed to popular Christmas music with a country slant. Donations benefit Family Haven.
