COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Investigators have not released the names of two men who they said led police on a high-speed chase through east Cobb County at the end of the rush hour Thursday.
Cobb police told Channel 2 Action News an officer spotted a Volkswagen car that was wanted out of Atlanta and tried to pull it over.
But the car sped away, weaving through busy streets before crashing at the entrance to a subdivision.
One man was injured in the wreck. The other ran off through several subdivisions and was only caught when a Good Samaritan tackled him, police said.
One suspect is in the hospital. The other was caught and is currently in the Cobb County Jail facing charges.
