Dublin woman wins $100k in Douglasville

ATLANTA — A stop in Douglasville has rendered a large Georgia Lottery win for one middle Georgia woman. Fairburn Food Store, located at 2741 Fairburn Road in Douglasville, sold a 100X The Money instant ticket with a $100,000 prize.

The winner, Frances Norris of Dublin, claimed her prize Tuesday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Macon.

The Georgia Lottery instant game 100X The Money is loaded with cash prizes of up to $3 million.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
