Missing 3-year-old found safe at Fayette Co. home

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Fayette County Deputies found a 3-year-old girl, missing since Sunday.

Cell phone signals helped police locate 3-year-old London Pryor and 28-year-old Dasha Nash from a home on Lakeview Drive in Fayetteville. Police believe Nash, London’s cousin, took her.

Police say Nash was drunk when she took London from her Jonesboro home Sunday night.

Police say London was last seen around 11 p.m. at 1806 Deer Crossing Circle. She was found safe around 9 a.m. Monday.

Neighbor Britta Kratchoff said she didn’t know what was happening when police came to her neighborhood.

“I woke up and there's a helicopter and two cop cars, and my neighbor called me and I asked, ‘do you know what's going on?’”Kratchoff said.

London’s father said he left his home on an errand and when he returned, his daughter was gone.

“I was taking my sister to the bus station. She was going back out of town. When I came back, she wasn't here,” Wayne Pryor said.

Police say that Nash won’t face any charges because there is a lack of criminal intent and kidnapping charges do not apply in this case, but the investigation is still open.

Police say that Nash has no connection to the owner of the house where she and London were found. According to police, when they found the two, Nash's car was out of gas and they were cold.

Officers said it was the happy ending they were hoping for.
