ATLANTA,None - Nelson's News on wsbtv.com has covered dozens of red carpets in the Atlanta area over the last several years, but none quite like this.
Bulls walked the red carpet at Centennial Olympic Park last week. Not the Chicago Bulls either, real bulls strolled down the red carpet as part of a Professional Bull Riders event.
The event was to promote the upcoming Atlanta Invitational at the Georgia Dome. The Atlanta Invitational features the best bull riders in the world trying to tame the 2,000-pound animals. It's Saturday night.
PBR veteran and Summerville, Ga., native Sean Willingham joined the bulls at the event. Willingham described what it's like to try to ride a bull.
"It's hard to explain what bull riding is like to anyone who has never gotten on a real one or done it," Willingham said. "I somehow like to explain it as, if you've ever been in a car wreck and spun out, tie yourself to a car hood and do a spinout."
