Two of Atlanta's best known companies are donating $1 million dollars each in cash and services to the relief effort in earthquake-crippled Haiti.

The donations are coming from UPS and Coca-Cola.

Atlanta-based shipping giant UPS said Wednesday the donation through its charitable arm, The UPS Foundation, consists of $500,000 in cash and up to $500,000 of services for the shipment of needed supplies.

The funds will be divided between various relief organizations, including the American Red Cross and UNICEF.
