Posted: 3:18 pm EDT August 4, 2006Updated: 5:28 pm EDT August 4, 2006

Gwinnett County Police say they have arrested six men and charged them with the rape and molestation of a 12-year-old girl.

The six were arrested as part of a follow-up investigation by the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Department after a Duluth man was arrested on federal charges in November.

George Brian Disabato, a 52-year-old real estate appraiser from Grayson; Peter Wookil Janoe, a 24-year-old student from Dunwoody; Charles Hamilton Jundt, Jr., a 47-year-old furniture salesman of Norcross; Timothy A. Whitney, 34, of Stockbridge; Brenton James Smith, a 22-year-old student of Atlanta and Ronald Elliott Bibb, a 36-year-old computer programmer of Lawrenceville were all charged with statutory rape, aggravated child molestation and aggravated sexual battery by the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department.

These arrests are in connection with a previous federal investigation involving Wilbur McLeece Caldwell.

Caldwell was arrested and charged with the manufacture, distribution and possession of child pornography.

He subsequently pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of manufacturing child pornography.

The FBI Safe Child Task Force along with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office handled the initial investigation leading to Caldwell's arrest.

Investigators say Caldwell used the internet to invite men to engage in sexual activity with the 12-year old at Caldwell's home.
