U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney's campaign says she will show up for two debates against former DeKalb County Commissioner Hank Johnson prior to their August 8 runoff election.

McKinney skipped two televised debates before the July 18 primary election for the Fourth Congressional District.

She has agreed to appear for a debate at WSB-TV Channel 2 on August 5. It will be broadcast live at 12:30 p.m.

McKinney will also debate Johnson on Monday at 7:30 in a face-off sponsored by the Atlanta Press Club. It will be at the Georgia Public Broadcasting studios and will be aired live on GPB and C-SPAN.
