WALTON COUNTY -- Dozens of illegal video gambling machines are now in the hands of authorities after several raids in Walton County.Fifteen lightning raids on convenience stores around the county netted the machines.A month-long undercover operation lead authorities to up to 70 machines – some paying out up to $30,000 to the winner – but authorities say there were more people losing than winning.Investigators say they plan to charge as many as 15 store clerks in the near future.
