Sandy Springs Limits Adult Clubs

The new year will bring new and strict rules for adult clubs in Sandy Springs.

The Sandy Springs City Council approved measures last night that prohibits alcohol and VIP rooms at adult clubs in the city.

In addition, video stores in the area cannot have "booths" anymore, and the shops must also be 400 feet from churches.

They can stay for 5 years at their current locations, but then they have to move to a district that will be selected and zoned for such activity.

Lawyers for at least one of the video stores said they are planning to file a lawsuit.
