Lottery Winners Staying On The Job

A man and wife who say they have the

winning Mega (m) Millions ticket worth 130 (m) million dollars say

they plan to keep working.

James Jones owns an auto repair shop in Washington in east

Georgia. Margaret Jones has a mail route.

Jones tells A-B-C's "Good Morning America" today that he and

his wife will keep their jobs. In his words, "We got to have

something to do, stay busy."

His wife says one of her dreams is to buy a place in Daytona

Beach, Florida.

Jones says that is NOT his dream but adds, "I don't think I

want to go to Daytona, but I might have to."

The couple also plans to give some of the money to their

children.

Mrs. Jones bought the winning ticket on Tuesday.

The Mega Millions lottery began in May 2002. States

participating in the game are Michigan, Georgia, Virginia,

Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio,

Texas and Washington.

Federal law forbids paying welfare benefits to immigrants -- even legal immigrants. But a government investigation found that states all over the country are ignoring an important part of that law. When Channel 2 Action News reporter Richard Belcher asked Georgia's Department of Human Services what it was doing, the answer was: We don't know.

A Channel 2 investigation is exposing critical 911 delays. Dozens of Channel 2 viewers called and e-mailed us and said they were put on hold during emergencies. Investigative reporter Jodie Fleischer spent months requesting and digging through records. While the city of Atlanta still hasn't provived all of what we asked for, Fleischer has uncovered what appears to be a 911 emergency.
