Cobb Votes To Appeal Ruling

Evolution Sticker Battle Will Continue

In a 5-2 vote Monday night, the Cobb County school board voted to appeal a federal judge's ruling against textbook stickers alerting students that evolution is a theory.

The board said a local attorney will handle the case -- which has made national headlines -- for free. No taxpayer money will be spent.

It's not clear exactly when an appeal will be filed.
