Man Shot In Buckhead Club District

Police Hope Surveillance Cameras Hold Clues

9:30 a.m. EST December 12, 2004

A man was shot several times as clubs and bars closed early Sunday morning in Buckhead.

Atlanta police say Juan Denilo Valentino of Oakland, Calif., was found lying in the parking lot of a strip mall on Pharr Road and Bowling Way. He'd been shot in the torso and legs.

Detectives have been interviewing witnesses and hope surveillance cameras set up in the area could point them to a suspect. Thus far, there have been no arrests.

Valentino was listed in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital.
