HAMPTON -- The Atlanta Motor Speedway in Henry county opens its campground this weekend to the evacuees fleeing Florida from Hurricane Frances.
The evacuees are welcome free of charge to stay on the grounds which include hot showers and restrooms.
Officials from the Atlanta Motor Speedway say the evacees are in good spirits--camping out and some even preparing to cook out for the holiday.
This is the first time the speedway has offered such a gesture.
