One Victim Allegedly Sexually Assaulted During Incident

Posted: 6:37 am EST February 25, 2004

Gwinnett County police were searching Wednesday for five men who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman and robbed a home during an overnight home invasion, authorities said.

Residents of the home on Oakland Walk Court called police around 2:45 a.m. following the incident. The victims, two adult women and four children, told police that five Hispanic men forced their way inside before tying up the women and demanding money and valuables.

One of the women said she was sexually assaulted during the incident at gunpoint. The victims told police that the suspects fled from the scene in a white minivan with an undetermined amount of cash.

Channel 2 Action News reporter Terry Mann contributed to this report.
