Fugitive Serving 99 Years, 99 Months, 99 Days Found In Georgia

AUBURN, Ala. -- Deputies in Georgia arrested an escaped fugitive Friday who was supposed to be serving 99 years, 99 months and 99 days in Alabama.Spalding County deputies began searching for Kenneth Tyron Moncrief, 46, of Auburn, Ala. after finding a stolen car in the Ponderosa Mobile Home Park on Patterson Road in Griffin.Investigators learned Moncrief allegedly stole the car in Auburn and drove it to Griffin, where he used to live.Members of the Investigative Division and Warrant Division began searching for Moncrief and found him at a house on Highfalls Road.Moncrief is currently awaiting extradition back to Alabama on parole violation charges as well as the new charge car theft charge.
