Bank Robber Wearing Construction Hat Sought

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. -- Police need your help tracking down a construction-hat-wearing bank robber who hit a Bank of America in Johns Creek Thursday.

The robbery happened at about 1:50 p.m. in the 10900 block of Jones Bridge Road.

Investigators said the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money. He fled in a silver, four-door sedan and headed west on State Bridge Road. Police said the vehicle may have been a Mitsubishi Mirage.

Authorities described the robber as a black man with a short beard. In addition to a construction hat, police said, the robber wore sunglasses and a yellow, plastic rain jacket.
