Suspected Illegal Gambling Operation Raided

Atlanta Police Department officials, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents and Internal Revenue Service officials served a search warrant on a location on Whitehall Street in southwest Atlanta Tuesday evening.

Officials with the Atlanta Police Department said the warrant was part of an investigation into illegal gambling.

Officers were on the scene of the VT Tire Company on West Whitehall Street.

News Chopper 2 flew over the scene and a line of people could be seen lined up against the building with flex cuffs on.

Channel 2 Action News reporter Justin Farmer said Animal Control was also on the scene.
