Police: Ga. Man Charged After Showing Genital Picture On Phone

A Cartersville man has been charged with distributing obscene materials after police say he cornered a woman in a grocery store parking lot and showed her a pornographic picture on his cell phone.

Acworth police said 29-year-old Stephen Joseph Woods Jr. was at was at the Aldi store in Acworth when he confronted the unidentified woman. The woman tells police he approached her and asked if she "wanted to see something."

Then he showed her the image on his phone. Police later executed two search warrants, including one for the phone and one for the photographs. Three photos of a man's genitals were found on the phone.

Woods Jr. was arrested and later released from Cobb County on $2,500 bond.
