Gaming Machines, Cash Seized At Restaurant

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office officials seized gaming machines and cash from a Cherokee County restaurant after a two-month investigation Friday.

Officials executed a search warrant at the Buffalo House restaurant on Highway 92 in Woodstock.

During the investigation, undercover officers went to the restaurant and were paid cash for credits they earned on the gaming machines, police said.

Detectives said they received reports of payouts at the restaurant as high as $20,000.

The owner of the restaurant, Chang Chun Wu, 51, of Acworth, was arrested and charged with commercial gambling and keeping a gambling place.
