Shots Fired Into Air At Waffle House

Riverdale police are searching for two men who fired bullets into the air at a Clayton County Waffle House.

Investigators said the men ordered everyone on the ground as they attempted to rob the cashier at the Waffle House located on Highway 138 shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday.

Police said that when they couldn’t open the register fast enough, they fired two shots into the air and fled the scene.

SWAT team members arrived at the scene and found everyone inside still on the floor.

No one was injured during the ordeal.
