Jewel Thieves Hit East Point Store For $1 Million

Burglars broke into an East Point jewelry store Thursday night, getting away with more than $1 million worth of jewelry, according to East Point police.

Police said the thieves broke into Kay Jewelers at 740 Marketplace Boulevard sometime Thursday night after the store closed.

Store owners told police more than $1 million worth of jewelry was missing.
