Caught On Tape: Violent Woodstock Subway Robbery

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. -- Channel 2 Action News obtained surveillance video Thursday of a violent restaurant robbery in Cherokee County.

Police said a man walked into the Subway restaurant in Woodstock Sunday afternoon.

He fired a shot in the air and then threw customers to the ground.

The robber then jumped the counter and grabbed cash from the register before taking off.

Police said the getaway vehicle was a dark green Ford Ranger pickup truck with an expired tag.
