A tractor-trailer carrying 80,000 pounds of sand overturned on I-675 north in Clayton County Thursday morning snarling traffic on the busy interstate during the morning rush hour.

The truck crashed on 675 north just south of Anvil Block Road near the Clayton-DeKalb County line.

WSB-TV Channel 2 traffic reporter Mark Arum said crews are blocking all lanes of the interstate during part of the clean-up.

Arum recommended I-75 north as an alternate.
