Man Robs Subway; Steals Cash, Sandwich, Drink

The Cobb County Police Department said they are looking for a man who robbed a Subway restaurant of money, a sandwich and a drink.

Police said the man entered the Subway restaurant on Powder Springs Road in Marietta just before 3 p.m. Sunday.

The man ordered a sandwich but while at the register, he produced a handgun and demanded cash, police said.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash and before leaving the business, the man stole a drink and his sandwich. Police said the man then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male between 18 and 25 years old. He was last seen wearing a black coat and dark colored pants.

There were no injuries.
