Man Shot 31 Times In Atlanta; 2 Gunmen At Large

A man was shot 31 times and found dead near the intersection of Lisbon and Cahoon Streets in southwest Atlanta Saturday, police said.

Channel 2 Action News reporter Ryan Young spoke with Atlanta police who said they believe two men pulled in behind the victim, shot him 31 times and fled the scene.

Police said one of the men was armed with an assault rifle, while the other had a 9 mm handgun.

Investigators told Young that the shooting victim may have been targeted.

Police haven’t released the victim’s name.
