Deputy's Cruiser Collides With Tractor-Trailer

LAMAR COUNTY, Ga. -- A Butts County sheriff’s deputy was life-flighted to Grady Hospital Thursday evening after his cruiser collided with a jackknifed tractor-trailer.

The accident closed part of Highway 36 at Parker Branch Road in Lamar County.

The deputy’s condition was not immediately known.
