Clayton County police said a stolen pickup truck being pursued by officers struck a car and killed a mother and her daughter on their way home from Bible studies, and a 24-year-old man is under arrest.

Police identified the victims as Zannie Hatcher, 74, and her 57-year-old daughter, Bonnie Vicks.

Clayton Police Lt. Rebecca Brown said the chase began Wednesday night when Clayton County police saw a man in the pickup appear to try to solicit prostitutes near I-75.
