Channel 2 Presents 'Going Green For Less Green'

Hosted By Consumer Advisor Clark Howard

Channel 2 Consumer Advisor Clark Howard shared his secrets to help Georgia families go green for less.

“During these tough times, everybody’s got to stretch a buck,” Howard said. “I’m going to show you how going green can actually save you green.”

Howard went through local homes to help Georgians identify big energy wasters and explains easy steps that can be taken right away to reduce a power bill.

Howard helped Georgians cash in on green tax credits and even a recipe to make a natural household cleaner.

Howard also headed to the backyard to show viewers how Mother Nature can help save big money. Ideas ranged from a simple step that saves hundreds on laundry expenses to growing a cheap organic garden that provides hundreds of dollars worth of fresh produce every year.

GREEN RECIPES: Window Cleaner | Spray Cleaner | Furniture Polish | Creamy Scrub | Garlic Spray Insecticide for Garden | Liquid Laundry Detergent

“Going Green for Less Green” was presented by these Going Green Sponsors: Georgia Power, Northwest Exterminating, Mohawk Industries, and Georgia’s Own Credit Union.
