2 shot, 1 killed in S. Fulton Co.

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating a double shooting in South Fulton County.  Investigators say two people were shot on Old National Highway, south of Godby Road.

Fulton County Police say the shooting started after an altercation Sunday night. Police said a group of gunmen jumped out of a vehicle and riddled a sedan with bullets.

Witnesses said the injured man ran inside Infamous Tattoos looking for help.

Emergency workers took one victim to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm.  Police are not yet releasing information on the condition of the second victim.  The medical examiner is at the scene.

The manager of nearby El Nopal Mexican restaurant said the shooting had nothing to do with the business. He said it happened in the parking lot of the business a couple of doors over.

Police said they are looking into a few leads and working on a description of the shooter's getaway car.
