Tip Nets Stolen Blue Jeans, 11 Suspects

Atlanta police said they have recovered thousands of dollars worth of blue jeans, shirts and other items from a house in southeast Atlanta.

Police told Channel 2 Action News reporter Ross Cavitt that a neighbor alerted them of suspicious activity at a house in the 900 block of Farrington Road Friday.

When authorities arrived at the residence, they found approximately $10,000 worth of merchandise, and said many of the items still had tags and security devices on them.

Police said they also found two stolen vehicles at the house.

Cavitt said authorities took 11 people into custody. Six people tried to hide in a crawl space at the residence, but were caught by police.

Authorities said they are working to determine who the items belong to.
