457 Pounds Of Marijuana Found In Lilburn Home

Officials with the Gwinnett County Police Department said they seized 457 pounds of marijuana and a cache of guns from a Lilburn home during the execution of a search warrant.

Police said the incident occurred at house on Worchester Place in Lilburn.

Investigators with the department’s drug task force said they received an anonymous tip from a citizen who was concerned about possible drug activity at the house.

During the course of the investigation, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle occupied by two men who were seen leaving the residence. The driver gave consent to search the vehicle where a garbage bag containing ten pound of marijuana was discovered.

Investigators then obtained a search warrant for the residence where 457 pounds of marijuana worth $2,118,293.00 was located and seized, according to police.

Five weapons including a M16 and AK 47 assault rifle were also confiscated along with a large amount of ammunition.

Four people -- Miguel Flores, 31, of Lawrenceville; Isalias Corona, 25, of Mableton; Javier Arroyo, 41, of Lilburn; and Huber Zarco-Huto, 40, of Lilburn -- were arrested in connection with the incident and transported to the Gwinnett County Detention Center where they are being held without bond.
