Posted: 11:13 am EDT June 21, 2009Updated: 4:46 pm EDT June 21, 2009

A Gordon County minister was arrested, accused of molesting a then 11-year-old girl.

Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston said Randy Hufstetler, 52, of Plainville, was taken into custody without incident Friday afternoon at his construction business.

Authorities said Hufstetler attended the same church with the victim for several years. They said Hufstetler was not working for a church when the incident happened.

Investigators have also interviewed another young individual acquainted with Hufstetler, who they believe was also victimized. Hufstetler has been charged with two counts of child molestation.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Hufstetler remained in jail Sunday.
