Decatur High, Renfroe Middle School Placed On Lockdown

Decatur High School and Renfroe Middle School were placed on lockdown at 4 p.m., Decatur City Schools confirmed.

The lockdown was lifted just before 5 p.m.

During the lockdown, school officials were allowing students that travel on buses or in cars to leave the school. Students who walked home were being detained.

There is no word on why the schools were placed on lockdown.
