Alleged Church Vandals Arrested In Pike Co.

Three men are in custody in connection with several church burglaries and vandalism cases.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office arrested Denver Dixon, 22, of Zebulon, Jacob Wilson, 19, of Barnesville, and Jacob Nicholsan, 20, also of Zebulon.

Deputies believe the men targeted three Pike County churches last weekend.

Authorities said someone sprayed fire extinguishers and knocked over furniture at New Hope Baptist Church in Zebulon.

Officers said they recovered church property at a local pawn shop.
