Atlanta Rapper Pleads 'No Contest' To Hitting Woman

An Atlanta rapper will spend 48 hours behind bars for hitting a woman.

“Rocko,” whose real name is Rodney Hill Jr., pleaded no contest Monday to battery charges.

The DeKalb solicitor said the rapper pulled a woman’s hair and struck her in the face at a local nightclub in Feb. 2007. The victim sustained injuries to her face and eye, including a swollen, black-eye and broken blood vessels within the eye.

Hill, who is engaged to the singer Monica, must also serve 12 months probation and complete community service.
