A Newton County elementary school janitor is facing two counts of sexual exploitation of a child, Georgia Bureau of Investigation officials said.

The GBI arrested Brian Evan Morgan.

Authorities issued a search warrant after receiving information that the 48-year-old was sharing files containing child pornography. Investigators said they found numerous files of suspected child porn on his computer.

Morgan had been a janitor at Mansfield Elementary in Newton County since March. He has been fired.

Officials said there is no indication that the images involve local children. GBI spokesman John Bankhead said the files they found were those that are typically shared by pedophiles over the Internet.

Morgan is being held at the Newton County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
