Hundreds of Atlanta area residents skipped dinner Monday night to see their favorite cooking guru.

Rachael Ray was at Borders Books in Marietta to meet her fans and to sign her latest book, 'Rachael Ray's Big Orange Book.' Why Big Orange Book? Ray told WSBTV.com that her latest cookbook covers so many different meals; from holiday dinners to meals for one, kosher meals to vegetarian dinners, that everything didn't fit into one category. Orange is her favorite color and it's a big book of recipes so the name just kind of stuck.

Ray's experience spans the food industry with her start coming at Macy's in New York City working the candy counter.
