A Georgia taxi driver hired by the Floyd County Board of Education is accused of enticing a student for sex.

Ernesto Guzman was arrested Friday by the Floyd County Police Department.

Investigators said the Floyd County Board of Education has an agreement with Rome Taxi Cab Company to transport students from the Floyd Transitional Academy on Morrison Campground Road to the board of education, where students ride the bus from there to their homes.

Investigators said Guzman purchased alcohol for himself and the student then drove to Chattooga County to have sex.

Guzman faces several charges, including interfering with the custody of a minor and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
