A former Georgia Tech employee already in prison for using her state credit card for a five-year shopping spree is now accused of stealing money from a middle school band boosters club.

Donna Gamble stole nearly $12,000 while she was treasurer of the Marietta Middle School Band Boosters Club in 2006, according to an arrest report.

She is accused of writing a series of checks from the Boosters Club account to her husband, Mickey Gamble. The Cobb County Sheriff's Office said Mickey Gamble is not charged.

Donna Gamble, 43, is serving a 32 month sentence at the FCI Coleman Medium prison in central Florida, after admitting to charging more than $316,000 in personal expenses on her Georgia Tech credit card.

She worked as an administrative coordinator at Tech’s Parker H. Petit Institute of Bioengineering and Bioscience
