Atlanta Police Target Burglar Committing Sex Acts

Posted: 9:21 pm EST November 12, 2008Updated: 10:03 am EST November 13, 2008

Jinaki Flint said she can't believe there's a burglar in her Adair Park neighborhood breaking into homes and committing a sex act.

Atlanta police said the man, acting alone, hit two houses in the past week.

When the burglar finds adult magazines, authorities said he commits a sex act then leaves.

Investigators told WSB-TV Channel 2 that they have recovered fingerprints and DNA evidence, but said it could take some time before the GBI crime lab gets the results.

In the meantime, authorities worry the burglar could turn violent before he is caught.

Investigators said they want to assure Adair Park residents that their safety is a top concern.
